Originally from Montreal, I have been living on the West Coast for a few years and have recently moved to Vancouver.
I am surrounded by the spectacular setting of sea and mountains for which the city is renowned. My studio is on top of a little townhouse, with big windows where there is a great view of downtown at night.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Quebec in Montreal. After school I spent some time designing openings for television shows. After a few years I decided to return to my first love, illustration.
I feel very fortunate to have illustrated more than sixty children books so far and to be able to reach out to children around the world!
In my free time, I enjoy making all kind of art projects, from painting to designing furniture or toys. I love to explore many techniques and mediums, which always nurtures my creativity in new ways and inspires me for future books. You can see my paintings on this website.
You can also often find me traveling all around the world. Learning about new cultures and seeing new places is a passion and a great source of inspiration.
